Program 01

Corridor Care

Recurring maintenance for commercial corridors—the blocks where a clean sidewalk directly affects whether people stop, shop, and stay. We schedule by corridor rather than by single address so the whole stretch improves at once.

  • Sidewalk, curb, and gutter washing
  • Gum, grease, and beverage stain removal
  • Transit stops, benches, planters, and trash-can pads
  • Storefront entries, awnings poles, and roll-gate frames
  • Quarterly, monthly, or seasonal schedules

Program 02

Block Restore

Resident-requested cleanups on residential blocks: marble and concrete steps, sidewalks, shared walkways, alleys, and dumpster pads. Neighbors identify the need; we bring equipment, water plan, and crew.

  • Marble and concrete step cleaning
  • Alley and rear-yard washdowns
  • Dumpster pad and trash area sanitizing rinse

Program 03

Civic & Sacred Spaces

Churches, mosques, schools, rec centers, community gardens, veterans’ memorials, and monuments. These surfaces are often old, ornamental, or fragile, so method matters more than muscle.

  • Low-pressure soft washing for historic masonry
  • Steps, ramps, railings, and entry plazas
  • Playground surfaces and pavilion structures

Program 04

Graffiti & Grime Removal

Targeted removal that lifts tags, adhesive residue, and biological growth without etching brick, scarring paint, or blowing out mortar joints. Where removal is not appropriate, we coordinate on repainting instead.

  • Surface-tested detergents and dwell times
  • Mold, mildew, and algae treatment
  • Rust, efflorescence, and hard-water staining

Program 05

Stewardship Pathways

The reason we are a nonprofit and not a company. Crew positions and training hours are prioritized for returning citizens, veterans, women entering the trades, and residents of the blocks we serve.

  • Equipment, chemical, and ladder-safety training
  • Job-site conduct, documentation, and customer care
  • References and hours toward commercial employment

Program 06

Partner Cleanups

Joint days of service with neighborhood associations, community development corporations, business districts, congregations, schools, and employer volunteer groups. You bring the people and the block; we bring the professional equipment, the plan, and the documentation your funders want to see.

  • Volunteer-safe task assignment alongside trained crew
  • Before-and-after photo documentation for your reporting
  • Coordination with city permits, water access, and street closures where needed

Standards

Pressure is a tool, not a personality.

Every job starts with the material: brick, marble, concrete, painted wood, aggregate, or stone. We match pressure, nozzle, temperature, and detergent to that surface, protect plantings and drains, and contain runoff where the site or regulation requires it. Crews work with posted notice, eye and ear protection, and a written scope the requester signs off on.

Eligibility

Who can request free service?

Our no-cost service is intended for residents, block associations, congregations, nonprofits, schools, community groups, and independently owned small businesses in Baltimore neighborhoods where paying commercial rates is not realistic.

Larger institutions, developers, and commercial property managers are welcome to sponsor a corridor instead—paying for their own frontage and funding an equal amount of free work on the same block.
